Testimonials

Staffordshire Police

We believe it is important to work with organisations like the Rural Policing Liaison Group. Since they started in January 2001 they have become an enthusiastic and challenging force. They have managed to highlight the many crime related problems in rural areas, which we work in partnership with to prevent serious crime.

Country Landowners and Busines Association

The CLA strongly supports the police, and backs their efforts to deter, prevent and solve crime. Their work is especially difficult in the countryside, to which modern roads offer speedy access from urban areas.
We are pleased to be part of the pioneering Staffordshre Rural Policing Liaison Group, which promotes the understanding of the issues involved in rural policing. We hope that the schemes' sucess will be copied throughout the country, reducing crime and the fear of crime amongst those who live and work in the countryside.

The National Gamekeepers Association

We welcome the initiative of the Staffordshire Rural Policing Liaison Group in the training of police officers in country matters. We feel this can only bring about a much needed improvement in rural policing and a greater understanding of our problems. Gamekeepers have a vast knowledge of their local areas and wildlife, which could, if utilised, be of great help to the police.
